Hollywood couple have sold their longtime Beverly Hills home in an off-market transaction for roughly $28 million, according to people involved in the deal.
The roughly 2-acre estate includes a free-standing screening room, a dance studio and two swimming pools.
The transaction closed today, according to Rochelle Atlas Maize of Nourmand & Associates, who represented the buyers. The home wasn’t listed on the multiple listing service but had been privately shopped with an asking price of $32 million, she said. Ms. Maize declined to give the specific sales price but confirmed it was under $30 million.
The roughly 2-acre estate is one of the largest pieces of property in the neighborhood, she said. The main house on the property has seven bedrooms, and there is also a free-standing screening room, a dance studio and two swimming pools.
Ms. Maize said Mr. DeVito and Ms. Perlman bought the property more than 20 years ago and renovated it, but decided to sell because their children are now grown.
The buyers are developers Stuart and Stephanie Liner. The Liners have built and sold a number of homes in the Los Angeles area over the years, and they plan to renovate this house, Ms. Maize said. The couple recently sold a Holmby Hills house with a beauty salon for $30 million.
The Liners, Mr. DeVito and Ms. Perlman couldn’t be immediately reached for comment. Nourmand’s Gayle Weiss also represented the Liners, and Mr. DeVito and Ms. Perlman were represented by Paul Lester and Aileen Comora of the Agency.
